Call for Abstracts

Technical Sessions

WiN Global welcomes researchers, engineers, and professionals worldwide to submit abstracts for the Technical Sessions at the 2027 Annual Conference. We seek original contributions in nuclear science and technology, including research developments, case studies, technical innovations, and best practices relevant to the session topics listed.

Important Dates

  • Abstract submission deadline: To Be Announced
    • IAEA financial support application deadline: To Be Announced
  • Author notification: To Be Announced. Further arrangements will be communicated individually.
No extensions will be granted for the IAEA financial support application deadline.

General Requirements

  • Language: English
  • Length: 400–500 words
  • Pages: Maximum 2 pages (including figures, tables and references, if any)
  • File Type: MS Word (.doc or .docx) or PDF
  • Font:
    • Title: Times New Roman, 14 pt
    • Authors and Affiliation: Times New Roman, 11 pt
    • Body text (all other sections): Times New Roman, 11 pt
  • Line Spacing: Single
  • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides

Abstract Structure

Please structure your abstract as follows:

  • Title — Clear and concise, accurately reflecting your topic.
  • Authors and Affiliations — List all authors with full institutional affiliations. Indicate the presenting author with an asterisk (*). Indicate the corresponding author with a dagger (†) and provide their email address.
  • Background and Objectives — Briefly introduce the topic and its relevance to nuclear science and technology. Clearly state the objectives of your work.
  • Materials and Methods — Summarize the key methods, data, tools, or analysis techniques used. For case studies, outline the scope and approach.
  • Results and Discussion — Highlight the main findings and their significance. Emphasize originality, technical innovation, or contribution to the field.
  • Conclusion — Summarize key conclusions and highlight their potential applications or impacts.
  • Keywords — Provide 3–5 relevant keywords.
  • Session Topic — Specify the most relevant technical session and sub-category.
  • Preferred Presentation Type — Indicate either "Oral" or "Poster" in your abstract submission.

Submission Instructions

  • Please complete the Abstract Submission Form and include it with your abstract submission.

  • Submit your abstract through the official conference website (My Page > Submission).
  • Attachments must include:
    • Your abstract file (Word or PDF)
    • The completed Abstract Submission Form (Word document)
    • Please ensure that no special characters are included in file names when uploading.
  • Abstracts must be submitted by a deadline to be announced.
  • Applications for IAEA financial support must be submitted by a deadline to be announced. No extensions will be granted.
  • After successful submission, you will receive a confirmation email at the address provided during submission.

Review Process and Presentation Format

  • All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Technical Program Committee for clarity, relevance, originality, and technical merit.
  • While authors indicate their preferred presentation format, the Committee reserves the right to assign the final presentation type based on review results and program needs.
  • Notification of acceptance and presentation type will be sent via email by a date to be announced.
  • Please double-check your submission email address, as all notifications will be sent to the same address used for abstract submission.
  • Oral Presentation: Oral presenters are required to attend the conference in person and deliver their presentation during the assigned technical session. Presentation time and requirements will be provided upon acceptance.
  • Poster Presentation: Poster presenters are required to display their poster in the designated area and be available for discussion during the poster session. Poster format guidelines will be provided with the acceptance notification.

Additional Guidance

  • Ensure your abstract does not contain commercial content and focuses on technical/scientific contributions.
  • Proofread for clarity and English proficiency.
  • To be eligible for IAEA sponsorship, candidates must either have an accepted abstract, or hold a relevant role in the event (workshop speaker, panelist, or WiN chapter president/vice president, etc.).
